Volunteer Description:

Join our partner Ontario Streams to help plant trees in Brampton this fall!

This project will enhance the habitat of the endangered minnow, the Redside Dace.

Native shrubs help to filter rainwater reaching Fletcher's Creek, in Brampton. This is essential so the Redside Dace can see its prey, flying insects! 

Details:

When: 
Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 9am

Where: 
Meet at the park, south west of Bovaird Drive West and Mclaughlin Road North, in Brampton. See the red dot on the map above. 

Please bring:
Gloves, re-useable water bottle, rubber boots/work boots, and your friends!

Ontario Streams will provide:
Shovels, plants, planting demonstration, and a large jug of water.
